So, I'm starting a new thing where I'll post what outfit I'm wearing on certain days that I really like. I'd love comments, but thats not what I'm doing it for. I'm hoping someone will join me, but I'm sure no one will. I'm basically hoping to inspire (? I guess) originality and to be proud of what you wear. Clothes are an amazing way to express yourself and I want people to realize that. I'll post pictures of outfits and a short description of each one. So yes, Halloween was pretty fantastic-al. Sorta. Haha. Makeup was kind of a bust, but meh. Its all good. I had a couple brusies and scratches. Lots of blood.

On another note:
Today is rather boring. I want to go shopping for makeup, little accessories, and clothes. I want to go to little cheap shops, ya know? Or thrift stores. Sometimes you find pretty cool stuff in there. Once, I found a waistcoat that was super rad, sadly though it didn't fit me. I don't know.... Lately I've been greatly inspired by Decora/Lolita/Fruits fashion. The quirky, colorful-ness of Decora, the fluffy ruffly cutesy-ness of Lolita, and the spunky kind of casual sense of fruits. All have lots of layering which I LOVE to do. I get lots of inspiriation when surfing through communities devoted to such fashions. (Ex. http://community.livejournal.com/d_e_c_o_r_a http://community.livejournal.com/fruits ) I sometimes build outfits around acessories, such as a necklace, a top, or even shoes. I've realized how much I LOVE clothes and how I love to express myself through clothing. Its such a great way to make a statement. There are a few lolita girls at my school but I don't see any decora followers. Most kids where typical bright colored skinny jeans paired with a band tshirt and some vans and call it a day. UGH! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE bright colored pants and such, but its such a horrible thing that everyone goes around looking the same. People should express themselves through their clothing and let their personality shine through!

Another fashion I take inspiration from is the whole punk rock/pinup look. I love clothing with tons of studs, or pants with straps. I own more cardigans than the normal person. I'd die for a high waisted pencil skirt. Retro style, tattoo prints, peep toe heels. LOVE! And honey, cat wing eyeliner is my day to day. A great forum for that is http://www.punkrockdomestics.com/messageboard/index.php. I find lots of amazing makeup on here. Which brings me to another thing I love.

Draw swirlies and lines on your eyes in liquid eyeliner! THERE ARE NO BOUNDARIES! Dare to be different. That is what I'm trying to stress here. Wear WHATEVER you want, HOWEVER you want. Don't worry what other people think of you! I respect a person who acts as their own person and "goes against the grain" more so than a clone! DON'T BE JUST ANOTHER CLONE! Make a scene, be memorable. The world is your stage.

You may call it weird, but I call it originality.
